To get here from Raleigh or Durham

Take I-40 West to Exit 266.

Left off the Chapel Hill and Carrboro ramp

onto Airport Road (NC 86).

Turn Right at 7th light onto Estes Drive Extension.

Cross railroad tracks and start up hill.

Turn next Left onto Hillcrest Avenue.

A green street sign reads Charles House.

Charles House is the last house on the Left.

To get here from downtown Carrboro

Go on N. Greensboro St.

Turn Right at light onto Estes Dr. Ext.

Hillcrest Avenue is first street on Right.

Charles House is the last house on the Left.

Park to Left of Charles House parking sign

or in the parking lot behind the house,

which you reach by going down the side drive.

Public Transportation

In Chapel Hill and Carrboro you can get to Charles House for free

by using EZ Rider shuttle bus for the handicapped.

From Durham the Access bus service (919-688-1525) can provide

transportation to Charles House.
