PART 1: Disrupt Dementia
2:30 - 4:30 pm
Disrupt Dementia invites people to experience a new vision of intergenerational engagement and help re-imagine the way society thinks about and treats people living with forgetfulness. This workshop will feature an exclusive documentary film by Alive Inside director Michael Rossato-Bennett, followed by an interactive live music experience and community-building exercise.

PART 2: Aging: Life’s Most Dangerous Game
7:00 - 8:30 pm
Dr. Thomas asks the question “what if?” What if we all lived in a world that saw aging not as a process of decline but as a vivid and enlivening process that presents us with extraordinary risks and rewards? Accompanied by acclaimed musician Nate Silas Richardson, Dr. Thomas shows audience members how to turn the tables on “Life’s Most Dangerous Game”

Dr. Bill Thomas is an author, entrepreneur, musician, teacher, farmer and physician whose wide-ranging work explores the terrain of human aging. Best known for his health-care system innovations, he is the founder of a global non-profit (The Eden Alternative) which works to improve the care provided to older people. He is the creator of The Green House® which Provider Magazine has called the “pinnacle of culture change.” Dr. Thomas also developed the Senior ER model of care and is now working to transform acute care services for elders.

The ticket price for both Bill Thomas events has been reduced from $25 to $15.
