Charles House Association operates the Charles House Daytime Eldercare Center in Carrboro and Yorktown Charles House Eldercare Home in Chapel Hill to provide quality personalized care to elders and respite for their caregiving families.The mission of Charles House Association:

  Supporting families caring for aging family members
  Representing the community’s commitment to its elders

We emphasize that participants should be active according to their capabilities and needs. We also emphasize involving families, especially during admission and goal planning. Families are encouraged to visit Charles House to learn about our program. Please call for an appointment.

Next Caregiver Support Group is May 23

Charles House Association and the UNC Division of Geriatric Medicine are sponsoring a Caregivers’ Support Group that meets the fourth Wednesday of each month, from 12:30-1:30 at the UNC Wellness Center at Meadowmont. Charles House Executive Director Paul Klever is facilitating the group, which provides an opportunity for caregivers to exchange information, talk about the challenges of being a caregiver, and provide support and encouragement to one another. There is no charge for participants.
